A delegation of FPCCI led by Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi, Regional Chairman/VP FPCCI held a special meeting with Mr. Asif Haidar Shah, Federal Secretary of Climate Change, on the issues facing the polymer waste importers and recyclers industry at the Ministry of Climate Change Islamabad. Syed Mujtaba Hussain, Sr. Joint Secretary (I.C), Dr. Zaigham Abbas, D.D (Chemical), Mr. Atif Nawaz Mughal Convener and Asif Sarwar, Deputy Convener of FPCCI RSC on “Polymer waste and Recycling” and others were also present on the occasion. The meeting discussed the implementation of SOPs by the relevant ministries, including the threat posed to polymer waste importers and recyclers industry. Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi said that institutions should relieve the business community by playing their role in the country’s economic development. Mr. Asif Haidar Shah assured full support to solve the polymer waste and recycling sector issues.
Federal Tax Obudsman advisory Committee meeting held at LCCI on 21st May 2022

First meeting of FPCCI Regional Standing Committee (RSC) on “Polymer Waste & Recycling” held at FPCCI Regional Office Lahore and Zoom Link, Presided by Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi, Regional Chairman/VP FPCCI. Ms. Riffat Malik, VP FPCCI, Muhammad Ali Mian, Mr. Atif N. Mughal, Convenor, Mr. Asif Sarwar, Mr. Shariq Vohar, Mr. Iftikhar Vohra, Mr. Asif Sheikh, Mian Muhammad Nawaz and others also attended the meeting. The members of standing committee briefed on their business issues, Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi assured the members of the full cooperation of the FPCCI and said that FPCCI would extend all possible cooperation to solve the problems.

1. Meeting held on 30.08.2018 at the MINISTRY OF COMMERCE, ISLAMABAD under the chairmanship of Director General (Trade Policy) to discuss matters regarding import of Plastic Scrap / Waste. The meeting was participated by PWIARA and other stake holders.
2. A meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Hammad Shamimi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Climate Change, Islamabad was held on 25th September, 2018 to deliberate and resolve problems faced by Recyclers / Importers of Plastic Scrap.
